Student Loan Debt Erased w/ Cash Back

The Credit Repair Shop Hello sir. I just want to publicly thank you for your information. I did as you directed and put my foot on their neck about discharging my loan. I sent the letter to my loan servicer and the Department of Education simultaneously, stating that they were incorrect in telling me that my school wasn't on the list. After about a month, I finally got a call from a guy from the Department of Education telling me that he'll contact my loan servicer directly. After about 3 weeks, I just got a call today from my loan servicer telling me that my loan was going to be discharged, AND that they will contact the credit bureaus to have them removed. They also have to pay me back the money that I've been paying as monthly payments over the last 3 years, a total of about $2500. I can't thank you enough and tell you how happy I am about this! After filing a lawsuit against them for errors on my credit report that they wouldn't fix, (which unfortunately was thrown out because the judge told me I had to file it federally, but whatever) tons of emails and phone calls, and time and energy wasted, this all went away from the information YOU gave me. I just wanted to give you guys an update. I had three different court dates that were scheduled since August of last year. The company suing me hired a local lawyer to handle the case first. He showed up to the first date in November of this year which was pre-trial to schedule the actual trial date. He didn't show up to the second date which was last week and didn't show up to the court hearing today. I rescheduled the hearing for today and had to submit a Notice of Hearing and Motion to Dismiss at the hearing that took place on Nov. 30th. One thing I missed was that I needed to submit an Order to Dismiss as well, but they helped me with that at the courthouse. I am not certain, but feel like if I had known enough to submit a Motion to Dismiss before the second court hearing and they didn't show up, it may have been dismissed at the second hearing. I was amazed at how many chances the plaintiffs are given. It definitely seemed like the courts have a bias toward them.

The Judge dismissed the case today without prejudice , but I still consider it a win! Hopefully they will just let it go. Thanks again for all your help. In speaking with the Judge he told me that 98% of his cases like mine end in a default judgement because the defendants never show up. I don't believe the plaintiff ever planned to show up because they would have won as long as I didn't. They also never responded to my affirmative defense or provided any of the information that I requested. You guys gave me all the info needed to prepare myself to fight and I am greatly appreciative!
